    The overall reaction taking place in the zinc-silver cell with a potassium hdyroxide electrolyte is

    Ag2O + Zn + H2O --> 2Ag + Zn(OH)2

    Suggest half equations for the reactions at the: (here are my answers)
    are they right?

    anode within the cell = Zn + 2OH- --> Zn(OH)2 + 2e-
    cathode within the cell = Ag2O + H2O + 2e- --> 2Ag + 2OH-
