    Hi all,

    I'm an Aussie, looking and have applied to study in England. I'm also a UK citizen but not a home student.
    As in international student I'm not entitled to any help from SFE and uni is very expensive in the UK.
    Does anyone have any advice or guidance about financing my studies?
    Private companies doing student loans etc?

    Thank you very much all !!

    I was wondering the same thing, not only are fees extremely expensive but the interest rates charged by banks are also extortionate. Did you get any advice on this?

    Have you tried scholarships from the university? After researching some I have found these;

    University of Bristol:
    Any course including undergrad/postgrad
    £3000 - year one
    £3000 - year two
    £2500 - year three

    All you have to do is write a short essay about your personal achievements, keep in mind they only have 8 available. I know it's not the full tuition but it's still better than nothing, right?

    Sheffield Hallam University
    50% off first year if you exceed entry criteria

    Also try applying through this website as they offer quite a few full tuition scholarships but only with partnered universities and specific courses http://www.intohigher.com/uk/en-gb/o...olarships.aspx

    If you're a UK citizen and have been in the country for 3 years you're eligible for home fees. Have you tried that route?
