There's a job I'm interested in applying for but I could only work 2 of the days they're asking. They specify a "Fixed term contract Monday to Friday 1.30-5.30" I could work the Monday and Friday but have college Tuesday-Thursday, I am also available during the weekend.
Is it worth even applying for it because of this or is there a chance they could take me on, regardless, if I am suited to the job?

I have done that before, but obviously specified in the cover letter what I am looking for. They might keep your CV on file for later. If it's done through a recruitment agency, the agency could find you something else if they're otherwise interested in your CV.

It's probably a waste of time, I'm afraid. There will be plenty of other applicants who can work the hours specified. Even if you are suited to the job, they won't take you on because they need someone who can work Monday-Friday.

Don't bother. Your wasting your time and the recruiter's.
