    Hi, does anyone have any predictions on what topics may come up and which topics are you focusing on mainly?
    Also does any one know what topics came up in January 2013 thanks

    Magistrates/juries will come up. One or the other, it's rare they miss this

    Well in January Sentencing was on Adult offenders so it's very possible that young offenders will come up. I think you should choose 5 topics (police powers, criminal courts and sentencing is a must) and look through past papers and see all the possible questions they've asked on those topics then write up a model answer using the mark scheme and revise it. ELS is a tedious unit.

    From what I remember Criminal courts in January was on mode of trial so it may very well be on Bail as they like testing students on Bail. Having said that, Appeals has only come up once which means they might put it in again.

    oh okay thanks which other topics would you recommend revising I think magistrates may come up...
