Why the offer?

Kent have given me an offer that is a fair bit higher than my predicted grades, can anybody tell me what that means? And is it worth me putting it as a choice?

Hi Befnay,

Great to here you chose Kent as one of your 5.

The admissions team often give offers higher than your predicted grades as it's quite possible that there will be places left on the course after the spaces for students who meet the grades are filled up.

Have you been to visit the campus yet? If you're certain which university is for you then I'd pick it as your firm choice, and if you don't make those grades, there's always a chance that you might still get a place.
