I want to be a chartered accountant as soon as possible. My A levels grades aren't that great therefore can't study accounting and finance at a decent university. Which is the best route to be a chartered account and to be employed fairly quickly.

Depending on how "not great" your A-levels are, you may be eligible for one of the Big 4s school Leaver schemes.

You can go for ACCA, but you won't get any employment opportunities until you pass the first 9 papers.

Which, if you take it srsly, you can finish in one and a half years.

If you are ready to slog you can go Acca.

Google. Generally I think the UCAS points required are around 240 for Tax, 260 or 280 for Business Recovery/Risk consulting, and 320 for Audit. Otherwise you could look into taking the ACCA - Oxford brookes degree route.

Or you can look at local firms who offer training schemes too.

I think I will get 180 ucas points in total which is bad. I just want to go straight into acca.
