    Hi,

Quite a few jobs now require applicants to have 5 A-C's.

    I've got 3 A-C's GCSE (with a couple more Level 2/Level 3 C&G/Btec from college).

    I know that:

    AiDA awards 1 GCSE
    CiDA awards 2 GCSE
    DiDa awards 3 GCSE

I achieved a CiDa "Merit" - what equivalent 2 GCSE's would this give me?

    Many Thanks

    Thanks

Any idea if these would be classed as "overlapping" as they are one subject?

Not sure what you entirely mean by that, but they count as 2 separate grades. So if they need 5A*-C then this would count as 2.
