making it big in the shorts by kim adelman, its very good but slightly too american, and also it was written about 10 years ago, so there is stuff about digital vs. film and the internet that isn't that relevant these days, but a lot is relevant and really helpful. I'd also say the guerilla filmmakers handbook, has some of the same issues because its slightly dated (but i think there might be new editions), and also rebel without a crew by robert rodriguez, although most of his films are awful, el mariarchi is very interesting because of its budget and the book is basically his diary while making the film.

Travis, I'll be in my Trailer (can't remember who it's by), Story by Robert McKee, Master Shots Vol. 1 and 2, both of Elliot Grove's books and Patrick Tucker's book. I'll let you know if I think of any more.
