I am planning to go to Lancaster University and I was just wondering what the policy is like about having people to stay in flats ect? My boyfriend is at another university already and I would love if he was able to come and stay over in my room from time to time? Could anyone help me

Yeah, it's fine. Technically, you're meant to sign them in, but nobody does.

This question always makes me laugh, my dad asks it quite a lot. Fortunately your planning on going to university and not prison, so ofcourse your allowed people to stay. Thankfully Lancaster does allow you some basic rights.

Rules are that they can only stay for 2 nights and you have to sign them in. No one follows these rules though and the only way they'll ever find out is if someone reports you to the porters.
