i got 73 i think, it was confusing at first because you had to realize it wasnt an AP or a GP, you just had to add them all up in the end

Phew those papers were too good to be true! I messed up with a few stupid mistakes, like an idiot, but should get method marks and just lose accuracy marks.

For the tan question i got tan(angle)=1/5 (i'm really bad at those questions and was so lucky it was only a few marks), but do you think i will get marks in part b) because i followed through, but with the wrong answer??

Grr i made a few dumb errors

Does anyone know when the marks scheme will come up? (not the offical edexcel one but the other one)

Now for M1 to mess up...

The way i did it was to plot the graph, find PQ and PR the use the formula 1/2bh because i couldnt remember the sin formula for area.

What was your method?

thanks

plot the graph with the points (0,10) (-1,2) (11,8), the formula was 1/2 BH as you cant use sin formula and stuff without a calculator. work out the lengths of lines (-1,2)(0,10) and (0,10)(11,8) and then multiply it all up
et voila
