You're right. I read it wrong first time round, then realised it said tan theta = 5 (I think we all must have been expecting it to say what is the value of theta).
Thankyou! I remember it because I thought to myself "If I can't get this, atleast they have told me what it is so I can solve it!"

When I get the paper tomorrow, I'll scan in the question so everyone can see that I have a much better memory than they do.

4. -6 and (2x + 5)(x - 4)(x + 3)
5. y = 3^x intersects at 0,1. Area = 1.82... (under curve)
6. tan o = 5, 78.7 and 258.7
7. y = -(1/3)x + 8/3, (x-5)^2 + (y-1)^2 = 10
8. Arc = 1.38. area of sector = 1.46. Angle = 0.92 and Overall area = 3.03
9. (r,a) = 1. (1/5,20) 2. (4/5 , 5) n = 15
10. A: 2, B: 10/3. Area of R = 100/3.

I hope those are the solutions that's what I got for everything

And, yes Astudentinneed the answer was 2. 6^2 = 36

IT was just to find a definate intergral they gave you. I remember the limits as being 2 and 1, can't remember the equation. I just remember it came to 16 - 2 = 14.

Did you put in the lower value of r to find that? Because that's what I did and got 2 but you needed to use the higher value. Didn't read that part lol

Question C1 with the runner I got a=5km and d=22/55 km. I pretty sure these are both right but are they likely to knock a mark of for putting d as 22/55 km rather than 2/5 km?

i got n=3 which is wrong cos i guessed lol. i heard some people got 2 or 0 if thats any help. the sequence question totally confused me

dont worry..that n question wasnt worth that many marks was it? i cant remember how many marks it was worth!
