    Hi all,

I'm currently studying maths and physics A levels looking to go on to do a mechanical engineering degree at uni in September.
I have recently discovered engineering apprenticeships which look incredibly appealing. Only they all seem to be based in midlands or in the north of UK, for example Jaguar-Landrover in Birmingham
I live in the south I don't really want to move too far. Are there any engineering apprenticeships based in the south??

Thales Canada, Bombardier and Kone are doing railway engineering apprenticeships in London.
There's quite a few smaller companies doing some in Guildford and Camberly.
There's a really good programme with MBDA in Stevenage.
    Where exactly do you live?

Oh right, haven't even heard of any of those, but interesting.
I live in north Kent greater london at the moment, but my mother lives in hampshire. So either of these areas are easily accessible for me
