Hi I have very long thin hair that's naturally a dark blonde and never been dyed. My question is, how could I achieve a light blonde? Not platinum, but a lighter golden blonde.

XXL Live colour blonde has mixed reviews, but B Blonde Powder bleach has decent reviews : http://www.superdrug.com/b-blonde-po.../42315&bklist=

Also, what would I do if my hair turned ginger? Bleach it again? Or dye it blonde using a blonde dye kit? Thanks!

Hi honey dont even think about dying it again, I understand u I also dont want that platinum tone, now Im using a pearly tone that is a more light blonde. The only thing u need is a good toner shampoo and your hair wont turn ginger I promise. Take a look to the one im using u wont regret I totally love this product.

I don't think you should try XXL because it will end up more platinum.
Also using powder bleach isn't a good idea because the colour will end up looking more yellow than blonde. Bleach is only meant to be a pre-lightener, not a hair colour.

If I were you I would buy a box dye in a light blonde colour. Garnier nutrisse do a nice one (I think the colour is called camomile). Also my mum uses one from L'oreal preference that lightens her dark grey hair nicely and ends up a natural golden blonde.

I can't stress this enough, don't use B-blonde. It produces more of a yellow/brassy colour. I've used it on my hair before so I could dye pink over the top.

Don't used Live or B-Blonde they are awful :/ they turn out orange or platinum. I think you're better off going for a 'light blonde' colour tint dye rather than bleach. Good luck
