Hi, I'm A British Student though i am hoping to further my education by studying at a US University (College) In a few years.

I know in the UK we have student loans, I was wondering if anyone knew if i would still be able to have this loan if i were to study in the US.

Also if there is anything else about studying abroad you know about that i need to consider, any other information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

As far as I know the student loan is only for british unis, and I don't think they have anything similar in America, although most unis have some kind of schlarships so that may be worth looking into. I know some people have got loans through banks to study in america but i think you kneed a guarantor who's an american citizen for that

There are US govt loans in America, but as a Brit, you are not eligible for either the UK or US govt loans! You can, however, get private loans, all the info is here: http://www.internationalstudentloan....ional_student/

Normally, it's better to try and get either need- or merit-based scholarships from the university you attend, as these don't have to be repaid. There's some suggestions for that here.
