Put Falmouth as my firm choice today
Now however I'm going through the dilemma of halls or private :/
I'm pretty sure i cant afford halls (there so expensive!) but everyone raves about them.
Do you really miss out going straight into private housing?
Is it actually cheaper in the long run?
& Is there any other 2013 first years thinking of going straight for private too? - Meeting and living with second year above would be great but it would be even better to have around someone in the same boat as me

I have friends at uni and they've all said halls are best for first years. You'll probably find it hard to make many friends if you go private straight away.

£123.20 per week for double en suite in Glasney Student Village halls

£83.48 was the 2012 average for a privately rented double room in Penryn. Also bear in mind that it says this figure does not distinguish whether bills are included (gas, electric, broadband etc)

It's a big difference but I know I'll regret it if I don't go for halls, your choice though
