I'm a uk national but I lived in spain from the ages of 11 - 16 and moved back to england in 2011.

When doing student finance i'm having to say i've lived outside the uk/my parents lived and worked outside of the uk/my previous address in spain.

I'm worried that this is going to effect my grant or maintenance or fees or something, will it? I am 100% english aha and I don't want them to think i'm applying internationally and put up the fees!!!

(also when im putting in where i lived it asks me "why did you live there" ?? what am i supposed to say to that, because we like the sun?)

You'd say you lived there because your parents moved there.
