    Hi all,

    First-time poster, long-time reader.

Having studied Middle Eastern History at undergraduate, I'm thinking about doing a part-time Masters at Birkbeck, as I work full-time. A lot of my friends have done postgrad courses and it seems to be necessary to progress career-wise (currently work in political risk consultancy).

I've found this course: Middle East in Global Politics at Birkbeck: http://www.bbk.ac.uk/study/pg2013/po.../TMSMEGLP.html

I was wondering if anyone has studied this course and what their thoughts are on it? Also, what is their impression of taking a part-time masters while working? Is Birkbeck regarded as a leading university in this field?

    Your comments are much appreciated!
