I've sent my application off for student finance but they are waiting on my
mother to send off some information (Decree Nisi) before my application can
be prossessed. I already have two sisters at university so you already have
that information, so does it have to be sent off?

    Thanks

    Hi Thomas,

The Decree Nisi is only valid for short period of time so if you sister's provided this evidence to support their applications we may not be able to use it for your application too. It really depends on how the Nisi is. If your Mum had or has sent a Decree Absolute to support your sister's application then way can use this for your application too.

I would suggest speaking to one of our advisers on 0845 300 5090 who can check your account details for you to determine whether a new Nisi or alternative proof of your Mum's status needs to be sent.

    Hope this helps,
    Mark-Lee
