So yeah, amidst rejections and ignored applications I got a job offer from a job I applied for a month ago. I have been applying for jobs since February but I only got serious about a job in March.

Job a job. You won't get anywhere in life with that attitude.

It's not really a job an ambitious person would be going for

Applying for only ambitious jobs will get you stuck on JSA with no hope of finding work. Have you seen the state of the current economy? Getting any job is tough let alone have the job in your area of study/interest or at least using your skills.

A job = more experience for the CV. The more experience the better.

A job isn't a career. A student with a careerless job is more ambitious than a student without one.

Some people have no choice other than either do any job or volunteer until they feel that they got enough experience to settle on their career passion.
