My mum was 15 and was coming home from the cinema when my dad (17) drove past and offered her a lift. Instead of thinking 'I shouldn't get into a car with a strange man' she accepted and 4 years later married him. They're still together; been married for 29 years
    And I don't have a boyfriend yet. (I'm 18) :P

They were both drunk at a party of one of their mutual friends. Mum was there with another guy buy he sort of stole her from him.

I met my current boyfriend whilst.. drunk at a party and seeing another guy and he sort of ended up stealing me from him. So yeah. Urm. This had never clicked before haha.. I guess history tends to repeat itself?

My parents had an arranged marriage, my grandma said they met on their wedding day. Which is crazy lol, but mA they're still in love.

And I haven't got anyone, but I wouldn't mind an arranged marriage or someone I've met, neither would my parents.

Exactly the same! But instead my mother regrets it otherwise she claims she wouldn't have married my father if she had a choice.

At a friend's house. They met each other there at 17 years old and got to know each other. 7 years later, they had me.

The first thing my dad said to my mum was something along the lines of, "Wow, you're short." My mum is only about 5"1. I'm nearly as tall as her. She responded with, "I'm not short, I'm petite." They are still together after 23 years.

Don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend yet. I'm 15. Would rather study my backside off and get into a good college and university than be in a relationship at the moment.

My Mum and her family moved in next to my Dad's family when she was 16
They were together for 56 years until he passed away

I met my better half at a wedding ... I was a friend of the bride and he of the groom
We have been together a mere 23 years (so far)

LOL, guess it runs in the family. Many generations down the line your great * 8 grand daughter could be stolen from another guy. That would be pretty cool.

I guess times were different then.. How long have they been married?

My mums family were a lot poorer and had lower status, and my dads family were from an upper class family.
It's not a perfect married life, it never is. They sure have had their ups and downs, but they are awesome and truly made for one another mA.

Mine have been married for just over 20 years. My mum's never serious when she says it, it's more of a joke between them two. They squabble more and more as they get older.

My dad was a bartender, my mum was an underage drinker. They ended up hitting it off, I guess.

(And I met my ex on a school trip, but that probably doesn't count because she's an ex, rather than a current girlfriend)
