It had the year of my course wrong in the letter (said I was starting my second year, actually starting my first) but it wouldn't let me change it online unless I changed my course. So I temporarily changed my course to another one, so that I could correct that mistake, but now I cannot change my course back. Is there a length of time I have to wait before I can change it back?

Yeah you should wait at least a week before changing it again.
