Hi, I've recently received all my offers back from uni's and the two that I'm trying to decide between are, London met and De Montford (to study fashion buying). I've looked round both but didn't really get a feel for London met and have read some really bad reviews about it. I just really want to be in London as I think it will be an amazing experience. On the other hand I liked De Montford, it's just the location etc. I just don't know what to do! Any advice?

London Met has been struggling financially for a long time, and even its vice chancellor has talked openly of how to "secure its future". You quite seriously do not want to be mid-way through your degree when the uni goes bust. Even if it wasn't to shut down, services are being cut left, right and centre http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/416144.article

Leicester isn't a bad place to live (I nearly went there myself) and there's plenty of time to live in London after uni

Dont go to London Met. For all the reasons outlined above - and because it isnt a creditable University.
