Hi so this is going to make me look like an absolutely awful student BUT i would like to know what my total grade would be for AS business studies if i receive an E grade and a U grade.

I'm dropping business at the end of this year as i have lost all motivation for it and well to be honest I'm finding it hard. I took an exam for it January and my grade was an E (annoyingly two marks off a D). I have been determined to do better on my other subjects, so the focus on business is non-existent. I'm expecting a U in the next exam basically.

So, with an E and U overall, what would be my predicted grade? Also, if it's possible, what would that be in UCAS points?

    Thanks

It depends on your UMS score really - for example, if you had two students both with one C and one D, one could get a D overall and the other a C. I don't really see you being predicted very highly with those grades I'm afraid - it depends on individual school policy and your UMS, but I reckon you'd struggle to be predicted higher than a D/E if you didn't resit. However, if you're planning to drop it anyway, you probably won't even get one/ it won't appear on your UCAS form (if you're applying to uni. You will however have to put your AS grade on - Us aren't worth anything in UCAS points; an E is 20 at AS and 40 at A Level.

Brilliant, thanks . I'm predicted all A's so the business exam ****if my predicted grades end up real**** won't matter to me.
