Borrow a wired keyboard and mouse off someone for ten minutes

It's always a good idea to have a backup wired set just in case, as wireless ones can stop working for no apparent reason. Especially as wired mice/keyboards are about £2 each, I'd just buy some.

Don't you have another old computer with the parts and just use that?
    Or just ask your neighbour.

Slightly late reply but it should just work. If it doesn't there might be an option in the BIOS you need to enable.

I've used various wireless keyboards and mice which use a USB adapter and never had an issue installing windows with them. (I don't think I've got a USB wired keyboard).

If you've never used the keyboard and mouse before you might need to pair them, which requires hitting buttons on them (although I've only seen that on some of the older keyboards and mice)
