Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel HELP PLEASE!!! watch

    • Thread Starter

Has anyone read this book? I need help on how it relates to the struggle for identity. What themes are prominent throughout the play and how does the context (1990 Ireland I think) relate?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help!!!

look at the history of Ireland, the book is set at a period of change in Ireland,
Its been over a year since I studied the text, but identity - look at the split in Ireland, and look at how the texts explores the issue of identity deeper by taking that into account.

Sorry I cant write in more sense.. its 4am and im tired! lol

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
