    Hi all,

My name is Luke, I'm from the University of Nottingham Students' Union and we're doing a bit of research into the experience of Russian students on their study abroad.

Firstly, if your University uses courses offered by RLUS (http://www.rlus.co.uk/), does your University pay for the tuition fees, or do you pay yourself?

Secondly, what information (and how soon) were you provided in terms of the break down of costs for the study abroad year. e.g. flights, visas etc.

We're hoping to put this information in a report so we can try to improve the information provided to their students.

Thanks in advance for your help

ucl pays our tuition fees for us, but of course the student loans company pays our fees for us to ucl (if we get student loans).
we got info on costs for flights and visas in around january of this year. but all the info is always on their website so even if it is last year's stuff, it's useful to give a ballpark figure. i think they update it each december for the coming round of students.
the ucl study abroad office and the ssees study abroad team are very helpful and give good advice on all stuff to do with this kind of thing but we are also expected to be grown ups and research obvious things ourselves.
