I have a question:

a) Given that inverse tan x = y, show that dy/dx = 1 / (x^2 + 1) - easy enough

then

b) Differentiate ln(x^2 + 1) with respect to x - done

but..

c) Use the results derived in a) and b) to find

Integral of (3 + x) / (1 + x^2) dx .. how?

Thanks : o )
