I discovered I unfortunately have an infected bartholins cyst it burst last week but now its back and more painful..there are so many various 'remedies' online and I'm getting confused!

Although I'm not sexually active I do erm..."self love" frequently...but i've been doing so for years and this is the first time it has developed...Can anyone explain how it develops and how can I get rid of it for good!!!

You could take antibiotics or have the cyst drained, much more effective than any online remedy. It's not sexually transmitted, glands can just become infected.

I have to say, I suffer from this myself too and until now I wasn't sure what it was. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this.

Going and seeing your GP will be much more effective than any online remedy you find, they will be able to prescribe antibiotics or refer you to a gynae surgeon to deal with it appropriately.
