    Hi everyone,

I am hesitating between Oxford's MSc in Computer Science and Imperial College's MSc in Computing Science. I am wondering which MSc is better if I want to study theoretical computer science? I have found very different advice on this forum so far. I got the feeling that the course at Imperial is more applied and highly regarded by employers, whereas Oxford's course is more theoretical and more suited for a career in academia (if followed by a PhD of course). Considering that I would like to pursue a PhD in computer science, what course would be more suited to my needs.

    Thank you for your help.
