Need help with Assonance, Sibilance and Consonance watch

    • Thread Starter

I do not know how I would pick out Assonance, Sibilance and Consonance in a poem or a novel.

How can I describe the effect of it? How can I notice it? I really need to know because I am struggling to understand it.

My exams are (ALL ARE HIGHER TIER)

Edexcel English Literature Unit 1: Understanding Prose (studying Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde; Of Mice and Men)

Edexcel English Literature Unit 2: Understanding Poetry (based on the Clashes & Collisions collection)

Edexcel English Language Unit 2: The Writer's Voice (based on Of Mice and Men)

    Can someone please help me?
