Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I'm just confused.

I mean every other exam board is just "Edexcel Chemistry, etc", but why is OCR B called Salters Chemistry?

Is there something specific about the content?

It's a specially designed a level unlike the others it's focus is supposed to be about chemistry in everyday life and is designed by people in industry as well as those in academia. It's arguably the hardest chemistry a level (but if course this is subjective)
Why they called it salters I don't know but it is rather different in its aims from other a levels out there.

I'm doing A2 salters chemistry now so this is just what I've been told by others
