I am starting K101 Introduction to Health and Social Care in October with Open University and I have just realised there is another course Y178 Understanding Health (15 credits) which start in June. Is it worth me enrolling on the Y178 course then going straight on to K101 ? If so, am I able to enrol on both these courses or am I only allowed to enrol on one course at a time? I'm new to all this and not quite sure if I can or not. Thanks

Y178 is an Openings course, which is a special type of course designed for people who are unsure about their study skills - either because they lack qualifications or because they haven't studied for a while. So it depends on your situation whether it would be worth studying that course. However, K101 is an introductory course so it would be possible to start with that course and you'll still get a lot of help.

You can enrol on both courses if you wish; that won't be a problem.
