    Hi,

I'm very good accordion player(won several international contests). I will be studying Computer Science but don't want my skills to go waste as an accordion player.

Is there a place or society which play this instrument? Or any orchestra which posses one? I can't bring my accordion since I'm from Eastern Europe and if someone ever played it, they it is heavy as hell :d

    Thanks.

There are loads of Musical Societies and I'm sure there is something that you can join, plus when I went to see the uni they told me that it's very flexible and people quickly form groups outwith the official societies. But if you can't bring your accordion that could be a problem unless the uni would let you hire one, that's if they have one, I don't know. But I'm sure there will be loads for you to join.

Hi, I play the piano, and I haven't practised during first year, but I asked about this at the Advice Place, and they told me, it's possible to practise at Alison House and it costs around 30 pounds a year.
