Has anybody else had to do this when applying for accommodation?
It's in order to put you with like-minded students obv, but it's also secretly a test, right?

It's trying to match you up with like minded people, so think about
    - do you get up and go to bed early or late?
    - do you do sports (if so, which?)
    - dietary things
    - do you like cooking
    - if you would think of yourself as being 'quiet'
    - if big nights out are your thing

Another way to think about it . . . who would be your dream / nightmare flatmate. What do you have / not have in common with them?

lol no, I do not like to "get off my face".
I know the hobbies bit, but do I say my reasons for picking the accommodation I have?

Not really, why would they put barriers to you giving them several thousands of pounds?

This may not be the case for you, but many students don't seem to realise just how much effort goes into keeping a house clean and tidy, and expect to live somewhere that us just as spotless as their family home with no added effort on their part.

But still, you can talk about your own clean and tidy habits and hope for the best.

Ugh, I'd hate to live with untidy people.
    It frustrates me so much
