two friends have asked if me and my partner would like to house share with them, which at first i thought would be a good idea. however, a thought struck me today - would this affect my nhs bursary as there would be a higher household income, even though we would be financially independent from eachother? or is it based on my own income alone?
i realise i would have a large bursary in my current circumstance, so am i potentially going to lose a large amount of that if i decide to go ahead with the house share? (which does not benefit us financially anyway!).

Edit: Oh, another quick question If I'v had a job for 3 years and paid rent, food bills, travel etc independently but have been under my partners parents roof (essentially a house share but with parents) am i classed as independent or dependent?

    Cheers guys! x

If you ahve supported yourself for three years and can prove it you are independant from your parents. It doesnt matter where you have lived - but you may need to produce evidence of how you have supported yourself.

Your house share wont affect your income.
