    Hi all, I'm currently taking my AS-Levels and failing nicely...

    At the beginning of they year I chose: Physics, Maths, P.E, History and General Studies.

    After the January module I achieved a U in Physics, U in Maths and a C in General Studies. I also have an expected grade of a D in History and P.E.

    Basically, my situation now is that I have 13 exams coming up (which are quite spread out), I have decided, on my own, to not bother with physics (although I will attend lessons and do some work, I will not put in full effort).
    I believe that in the exams coming up I could achieve:
    Physics --> U
    Maths --> C1 - D, C2 - D, S1 - U.
    P.E --> B
    History --> C/B.
    General Studies - C

    I will then drop Physics, and take the rest at A2 level.

    If I achieved this, what do you think are my chances of getting into a University such as Stirling taking a History and Sports studies course with min requirements BBC?
    (Bear in mind I have English grade C at GCSE and Maths grade B at GCSE).

    I would recommend putting in as much effort as you can at AS because 50% of it will count towards A2. Also, some unis look at AS grades that you didn't take to A2.

    It'll be harder and more stressful next year if you do badly this year.
