Expecting me to say "I love you"? watch

Me and my girlfriend have been dating 5-6 months, and in around a months time it'll be my birthday, to which she's taking me away for a night. The problem I have is that for the last month or two she's been dropping 'hints' and 'accidentally' saying things that suggest she actually loves me... and I fear that she is expecting me to say it to her on my birthday.

The problem being, I'm not sure I do love her yet...

    Not sure what to do...

You've been dating for 5-6 months and you're not sure...? Indecisive much?

I dont think 5/6 months is long enough to decide if you fully love her, so just tell her youve not been together long enough to know

I think it is an interesting dilemma, what to say when you partner says these words and you don't feel able to recriprocate. If it is said very early, then I feel it can be brushed over but after 6 months I think it deserves an explanation of how you do feel. I am against staying with someone who you know you are likely to split up with - its wasting their time. Another thing I've noticed about 'I love you' is that is not a binding commitment, rather its an expression of a mood at a point in time..
