i got S1 on wednesday i am sh*tting myself i have basically done nothing at all! no teacher no self learn crap etc etc. wot do ppl recommend i revise real hard n wot is there a chance (oh the irony!) that i may b able 2 scrap a high C low B remembering i hve literally jus opened book 2day!

i was in a similar position, got 60% then retook in jan.
make sure u can do all the easy stuff, cos they come up and are easy marks.

go though chapter 1-4 in a day(easy stuff). do chapter 6 and 7 (easy, mainly remembering formulae).

once you know that stuff only then do chapter 8,9 and 5.

i have s1 on wednesday tooo i dont know stuff but i'm gonna practice a few past papers!! anyway good luck...

I have a quick question about a topic in S1. Does anyone here know how to interpolate grouped data without using the complicated formulae of b+(1/2n-f/fc)*c

OMG I seen this topic, seen that stats is on wensday after lookd in computer calendar and seen that it is wednesday today and i thought that i missed my exam, i was really scared.... but than i saw that it is quoter past 12 !!!!)))))))

i'm not sure if there is any other way, there might be some but i dunno. Just do a few questions relating to this n it should not be to much of a problem.

It's b + (0.5n-f)/fc x w
(if your c is representing class width that's fine)

lowest boundar in class+(your value - values before class)/ number of values in class x class width
