When it says income, is it before or after tax? I think on the student finance form I was after tax which easier to work out tbh, but the pff2 states total income?

I'm hoping to do some part time work during the holidays too so do I need to state estimated income?! Or because its under £8000 so not taxable it's not accountable?

    Point 1
It is always income before tax

    Point 2
SFE don't take any account of your earnings, only your parents.

    Point 3
even if income is below the tax threshold it is still taxable income.

I'm a mature student so they need my income don't they? Think I might call to clarify? I was on 12,600 before tax working 3 days a week, will be down to 0 now!

I've contacted them, and I've got to declare my income as £0 for this current year. She said I don't need to tell them that my partners wage has gone up, but I'm going to any way as it goes on household income,
    Joint income was £32,600
It Will be £24,600 so it's more than a 15% decrease so should still get the higher amount! Hopefully!
