Hi guys, I'll be moving into S5 on the 6th June, after my exams. I'm just wondering what to expect. I'm thinking of doing the following subjects:

    Higher English
    Higher French
    Higher Spanish
    Higher Admin
    Higher History

I have to agree, Once you learn something new in school try not to forget it and keep doing past paper questions about it once in a while. Make sure you understand the stuff you do in class, don't leave it till May if you don't.

That's what I've done. I kept lying to myself that "I still have a lot of time to revise".
And here I am, It's mid April and I just realised I can't do 1/2 of the questions in the Geography past paper.

Also make sure you study hard for your prelims.
I didn't. I failed my Chemistry prelim and I need to get an A in the actual exam (Uni Requirement). I can't even make an appeal if I won't get it.

In Conclusion: If you work hard from the start you should be fine
    Good Luck...

Yes I agree. I need an A in Graphics but I got a scraped C in the prelim. I did a past paper in class and got a B so I am getting there. I would devote a lot of time after school to see teachers one to one its very helpful.

Tutor for English is a must if your struggle at all with anything In standard grade. I didn't fully understand Sg regardless of getting a 1. First half of higher I failed everything including the prelim (37%) but now my teacher and tutor thinks I am A capable because of the work I did in the past couple of mots. Still feel so under prepared though.

Higher History is just a memory game. Literally drill the essays in and you'll pass.
