    Hi,

I've firmed UCL as my main choice for physics and I just wanted to inquire into the possibility of learning musical instruments at uni.

Currently I play the piano (self taught) and I was wondering if there are opportunities to get music lessons or teachers?

I also wanted to try my hand at the cello but I don't suppose the music rooms have any for use or cheap rent?

    Thanks,

I only know there's Bongos Society which, I think, teaches drumming, but I've never been a member. For other instruments, I have no idea, but I haven't come across the teaching as a member of Music Soc or Jazz Soc.

    Hi,
UCL doesn't have a music department as far as I know. Might be better approaching a music student studying at a conservatoire (Royal Academy, Royal College, Guildhall or Trinity Laban). Alternatively try contacting another University which is part of the University of London group (Goldsmiths, Royal Holloway or KCL) who all offer music as a degree and may be able to put you in touch with a teacher
