Hi all I've been going out with my girlfriend for about 4 months now and we are both virgins. None of us have cold sores or use drugs or anything like that, should we still use a condom for oral sex or would it be safe enough without one?

Safe without. If neither of you have an STI - and from what you've said, that's going to be the case - you can never pass on what you don't have.
Outside commercial sex and people with latex fetishes, condom use for oral is rare.

Some women who value virginity will perform anal sex instead, whist still calling themselves virgins (not saying this is the case here). Being a virgin just means you havent had penetrative sex through the vagina. But you/she may have performed oral or had sexual contact with someone else, who may or may not have been infected. You can have latent STIs (STI is when you have the infection but its no symptoms --- STD is when the STI shows symptoms) which dont show symptons.
The only way to be sure is for the both of you to visit an STD health clinc. They are free and confidential. Check the NHS website for your nearest one.
