What are the transformation matrices for reflection in the y axis and reflection in the x axis?

I don't mean using cos's and thetas, i meant the general transformation just like to reflec the unit square with the mirror line as the x axis and y axis.

thanks

Transformation in the y axis would be

( -1 0 )
( 0 1)

In the x axis it would be

( 1 0 )
( 0 -1)

You can see this by applying those matrices to the general vector

( a )
( b )
