I really find coursework hard to get on with, especially at home, despite knowing that is has to be done. Does anyone else have this kind of problem.

I know exactly what you mean. Luckily I only have one piece of coursework to do - on The Tempest for English Lit - but I've not got very far with it cos there are too many distractions! UKL being a prime example!

Yep! I am the Queen of not-getting-on-with-coursework-even-though-I'm-weeks-over-the-deadline!

The problem is that the coursework deadline is in 9 days, so I have loads of work to do, but I find it difficult to sit down and do it.

True, but my teachers would not let me get to that stage, they would first rip my heart out with a preverbial spoon in order to get it all finished.

Yes, even though I only have to do two or three pieces of coursework for my A-levels.

During my GCSE's I vowed to myself that I'd get work done out of the way as soon as possible. Now, at the end of my school life I look back and realise that I didn't stick to my word at all, and that I have got by well enough anyway.

I usually leave these kind of things to the last minute - a terrible habit. A major problem in this respect is that my teachers are too nice to me.

I hope at university I manage to get work out of the way, so that have more time to do other stuff.

I have the same problem. I know that once i start i still have loads to do as it is such a large and time consuming project that i want to put off.

I find it slow to start off but once I get going I am fine. I've made reples to only four threads I've been so busy with course work. It is great.

I think that its the same for everyone - or at least most people - we just cant get into our courseworks. the main thing that actually does get us into it is a deadline-if it is due in soon, people tend to get down to it. although others STILL dont bother...

Once I start doing coursework, I would continue throughout the entire day, as long as I'm no disturbed.

Yeah, me too. I think most people do. For me, it's a fear of failing it that prevents me from even starting.

To start it yes, it's definitely a pain. But once I get stuck in and clearly know what I am doing etc. then I tend to get on fine.

    I despised English coursework.

I'm a "be given 3 months" and leave it to the last week! (like now)
