Hello, im new on here but needed some advice if anyone knows the answer to my question.
I am applying for student finance for 2013/14 study (foundation year) and have been told by the SLC that I am still a dependant student as I have only been self supporting for two years,
I Live with my partner and daughter (so with neither parent) but will still need to be parent income assessed.
Now, I used to live with my mum and her partner before 2010 (mum doesnt work, partner is self employed)
but now i have much more contact with my dad and see him alot more than my mum.
Whoever gets assessed I know ill get the full amounts available so im not trying to 'play the system' or anything, I just wondered whose income do i use? It says on all sites ive looked on 'household income' for dependant students, but ive been told my partner wont be assessed it HAS to be parents...

so yeah... sorry for the ramble, but who will it be??

    Thanks in Advance.
