hi, im interested in dentistry as a career,
where is the best places to apply with my GCSE ( 1A*,9A's 3Bs)

i have had a look at the different entry requirements but obviously everyone who applies has better than the requirements.

could anyone advise me 4 universities inwhich i have a good chance (provided i have other things like work XP, hobbies ect..) at getting into dentistry ?

    thanks

Most Universities are looking for higher level qualifications, so in your case A levels? I'm from Scotland so our version of GCSE's are standard grades which aren't even taken into account by universities!

Hi! To determine which universities you 'could' apply to, we need some more information. Grades, especially GCSEs, form a very very small part of the entire ucas application. Your EC, PS UKCAT, work experience, interview skills and AS levels all play a major part in the application procedure.

Also try checking which universities you SHOULDN'T apply to, for example, i wouldn't recommend Birmingham in your case since your GCSEs don't meet their requirements. Elimination will narrow your choices and 'fine tune' where you can apply. At least this way you don't waste an application to a university where you don't stand as strong as a chance as somewhere else.

Pm me if you need any more help!
