    Hi
I'm doing an A-Level in English Language and Literature, but I'm struggling with the annotations on the last 17 texts because my teacher is rubbish and doesn't go through the texts before she decides to set us an essay... Does anyone have any notes or links to good websites I could use to make my life easier?
    Thank you

    Hi

The set texts are chosen by the teacher or the individual person studying so not everyone has the same texts.
the York notes books are available for most texts and I find they help a lot, it is also available online http://www.yorknotes.com/

some other useful websites are http://www.sparknotes.com/ and http://www.shmoop.com/literature/

Other than the yorknotes, shmoop is the main website I use because its free and it has great notes and also helps with writing essays, just search for the text you are using and I'm sure there will be something useful to you.

    hope this helps, good luck
