economics isnt an art subject, its under social science, and social science is science
in terms or art or science its a dubious one, from what ive been told its more like an art at a-level, but more like a science at uni..... could be completely wrong

No you're correct. It's much like english or history at A-Level, analytical ability needed, not mathematical ability.

well i dont consider geog as an art

Geography is not all colouring :P,its got many stats and a few checmical formulas to learn, definitely not art for me, social science fits quite well

'Science is systematized knowledge . . . Art is knowledge made efficient by skill'
Geography at the LSE is a BA.

http://www.lse.ac.uk/resources/under...raphy/L702.htm

Funnily enough it's only a BSc when it becomes a joint degree with economics.

Correctomondo....
At a-level i think there r just Sciences and Arts
Arts being English history, economics etc...
and Sciences being Physics , chemistry etc...

At university level it then divides into:
Social Sciences , Humanities, Sciences etc...

Nothing to correct me about. I was stating that leeory was right in saying economics was an art at a level and a science at university.

Science:

The observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.

many subjects e.g. Geography can fit into science
