Should I go watch it or not? I've heard it's really good. Will it be worth spending money on it at the cinema or should I just wait for it to come out on dvd?

Harmony Korine is probably my favourite director, and not that i'm a professional movie director but on the short films i have made, he is probably one of my biggest influences. Having said that this film was terrible, i was actually upset most of the way through the film that it was this much of a disappointment. there was 1 really good scene but the rest was painfully crap, youtube search "look at my **** spring breakers" in a few weeks once someones put it up and then you have basically seen only good bit.

I would definitely go see it in the cinema. You can't appreciate its hypnoticness (hypnotism?) on the small screen. I thought it was a brilliant film but was a bit disappointed that it didn't really go beyond critiquing that whole Spring Break culture.

From a man's point of view, Spring Breakers is one of the best movies I've seen all year. Yes, it's basically soft porn with some amazing nudity, great violence and some clever one-liners, but the film has a fantastic storyline and carries itself so confidently in front of the blockbuster summer movies. James Franco is a legend in the film, completely unrecognisable and gives an intense performance while the 4 lead girls look stunning and really shed their inhibitions (courtesy some very provocative shots of them playing together). I had a good time watching it as it was being shown in a deluxe screen at my cinema, where I had the best seats in the house. Although there was a disgusting fat ******* sitting a few seats away from me who wouldn't stop chomping on food and slurping on drinks... so beware that if you see the film, you will inevitably share the cinema hall with a waste of space like that because, you know, young girls on screen unfortunately attract perverts like that. Other than that, thumbs up to Spring Breakers - check it out if you want a good entertainer. Just be prepared for lots of breasts, butts, sex, vaginas, swearing and violence.
