I have a dilemma and would like some opinions and point of views regarding which university to choose.

I have 2 offers, one from Lancaster and the other from Bath. My offer from LUMS is a MSc in Human Resource Management and Knowledge Management and the one from Bath is a MSc in HRM and Consulting.

Now, solely comparing and contrasting between the reputation of the business schools, which would you say is better and offers better connections/prospects?

Also which school is better for HRM itself, that is, which has the more reputable faculty in the field?

    Hi there!

I can't offer any advice as to what course is better, sorry!

But I do have some info on the Management School at Lancaster.

Lancaster has, as far as I know, the top Management School in the UK.

This year it won the Times Higher Education Business School of the Year Award, which is a massive deal!

I can't speak of any connections Bath has, but at Lancaster they have good connections with Unilever, Deloitte, Ernst & Young and Mattel to name but a few. There are numerous other companies too however me being a measly first year I haven't really come into contact with it that much yet haha

The Management School also put on careers fairs where loads of companies come in; Coca Cola, Asda, Co op, MI5 (if you can see that as a company aha), HP etc etc.

I cannot fault the Management School at all.

I know this isn't really much of a useful comparison but hopefully this will kind of be of some use haha!

Hey, thanks for the reply. You're right, it's not much of a comparison but it does give an insight into what connections Lancaster has.
